Josef Mianowski Foundation announces an open call for the scholarship program Fellowship Research & Eprience II!
“Fellowships Research & Experience” is a scholarship program dedicated to people from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Russiainterested in conducting research projects in Poland.
The program supports research initiatives aimed at sharing polish experience in implementing system changes, market economy, the rule of law and civil society. Moreover program will conducive to the involvement of foreign scholars in joint research projects with polish partners. The program is carried out by scientific-research internship and in addition professional training. Internships take place in polish universities and research centers. Grantees are directed in accordance with the subject of their research to the centers which they wish to cooperate with or jointly implement a research project. Scholarships in Poland lasts from 2 to 6 months.
In the frame of the scholarship after the scientific-research it is possible to undergo the scholarship of professional experience in selected institutions (eg the ministry, local government institutions, NGOs, media) in Poland. The amount of monthly grant is 2000 PLN.
Deadline for submission: 15 September 2013.
Program starts from: 13 January 2014
Possible scholarship terms: 13 January-13 April 2014, 03 March -03 June 2014 or 14 April – 13 July 2014

We are happy to announce that Mianowski Fund opens a new research program: „Sibirica – A History of the Poles in Siberia in the Polish and Russian scientists researches Polish-Russian Scientific Workshops” financed by the Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding under the First Open Competition for Funding Projects being undertaken for Dialogue and Understanding in Polish-Russian relations. Presentation of the project will be held on 3 September (Monday) at 10.00 in Staszic Palace (Room No. 19), and September 4 (Tuesday) at 10.00 in The Warsaw University Institute of History. All interested persons are cordially invited to the presentation! Details about the project „Sibirica„.
